Workers

You can see the signs on the lady in the midlle's arm. I gather this is how most lower class tradespeople in China without their own business, get their work. There are different streets around the city where they gather in large groups and hang their specialty around their neck, on their arm or maybe on their bike. People who need a tradesperson will drive by and choose one from the crowd. I imagine because of the large numbers the prices are pretty low.

While they are waiting, they are usually sitting around talking or playing cards Chinese chess or marjhong. Sorry it's not the best picture. I was in a taxi on the way to work.
