Journée jardinage?

This morning we volunteered to help out at D's creche. There's a really lovely community feeling within the creche and today was a gardening day. We did some weeding and sweeping, including the kids - D responded very well to the praise he received for pulling tiny bits of grass up and placing them on the weed pile!

One of the Dads is a tree surgeon and we were all fascinated watching him chop down an entire tree that was no longer safe. At bedtime O claimed that it had been one of her favourite things today, despite the fact that we took the kids to Place Flagey this afternoon to visit the funfair!
