Sun of centuries

It is my turn to "do" the altar flowers this week, so this afternoon I took my camera along with the necessary greenery and blooms.
Some of the old carvings made good pictures, but I like the way the sun was coming through these very old windows and shining onto the old stonework.
Yes, it is true, the sun shone for most of the day - and we had lunch outside!!!
