Cardinal

The first appearance of the Cardinal Beetle. He is looking like a fearsome warior (his left antler is pointing directly at my lens and therefore it seems shorter than the other one)
I think this is one of our most impressive looking bugs and certainly one of my favourites. I just wish I could catch him in flight... maybe one day.
