Hermit

A lovely day of swimming in the sea. Did I say it's the temperature of a cool bath. Perfect.

Then we all went paddling and found several pipefish (close relatives of seahorses).

Lots of sand crabs and fish. Creatures sifting the sea for food.

And then the stars of today, hermit crabs.

In abundance. Fighting each other over better shells. Hardly a shell Toots picked up didn't have a hermit in it.

MrsClix received a nipping claw from one for her troubles.

Then back to the hotel for lashings of pop, ice cream, and wine for Mum and Dad.

Did I mention all the wine was free.

MrsClix even opted for a free cocktail or two.

After all, it was our last night of holiday.
