Kayaking on Mochrum Loch, Wigtownshire

Went for a wee paddle today on Mochrum Loch. This is only 4 mins away from where we live and we can see it from our house. (This shows a bit of the loch from our front doorstep.)

Had a really lovely relaxed time - stopped at the head of the loch for a wee rest.

Lots of seagulls, cormarants, geese and oyster catchers use the loch as it is so quiet. Lots nesting and really not fussed by us at all.

Found a spot where we could see our house - it is the white blob on the hillside!
