Random Arch

This archway just sits over the bike path in the park next to my house. It seems to serve no actual purpose apart from simply being there as a work of art itself, or as a canvas for graffiti art. I like to think that it's the latter. It's a shame that it's grey washed at the moment, some of the graffiti art that gets painted on it is wonderful. Often very artistic and creative. Of course, there are also often plenty of stupid 'tags', but mostly it's all pretty cool. I like to think that this is what it's for as to me that means that the council is providing an area for these artists to express themselves in their chosen (usually illegal) medium. I might also clarify here that this is in a relatively socially conservative suburb.
I will post another picture of it later if and when it gets graffitied again.
