Native Bush

Tomorrow is Mothers Day in New Zealand so I've headed down to Hokitika today to spend the night with my parents.

This afternoon I went for a drive out to Lake Mahinapua to take some photos. This is the road that goes down to the lake, you drive through this beautiful piece of native bush. I stopped in the middle of the road to take this, looking back towards the entrance. I was then taking photos facing the other way, deeper into the bush, but a vehicle came up behind me so I had to drive on.
