Miles at dinner tonight. He had a table with a view in our kitchen and chatted with all the cars that he saw drive by.

When I picked up Miles from school today, the teachers surprised me with a very sweet Mother's Day present that Miles made. It was a bookmark that he made with water-colors, that had a picture of him on it and the quote "Children are made readers in the laps of their parents." I have always loved reading, and really hope that he continues to enjoy it as he gets older...just like his mama! The teachers also said that Miles thought the cups of water colors were for him to drink. And when he asked for the "yellow" water-color cup, the teachers told him that there wasn't any more because he ate it.
