tintagel
with the car related stuff over the last few days out of the way, our holiday could really start now.
on this day we went, to padstow, which is a lovely little fishing village, and several shops selling seaside tat, and pasties!
whilst traveling north from there to tintagel we went through a small town called delabole, which had a cluster of 4 wind turbines. down in cornwall these things are everywhere, but these ones were quite close to the road so with a short walk we could get right up to them. these particular ones were the largest we saw in the area, and were truly magnificent when we were stood under the blades, wow!
finally in tintagel, we had a walk down onto the sand below where the legendary king arthurs castle once stood.
to the left of the picture you can just make out some of the pebble beach where there is a huge cave which leads through the cliffs, which we obviously had to have a look inside. to the right of the picture you can see my other half, who isnt about to jump off dont worry!
