Memory hangings

Sue will be among members of the Font of Art group showing work during the
Forth Valley Open Studios next month.

This evening we had a preliminary meeting in St Saviour's church, Bridge of Allan, to discuss the allocation of space for artists.

Sue will be doing a community based weaving project inviting people to bring in some piece of textile that has some significance for them and then, under Sue's guidance, to weave it into a Memory Hanging.

Sue brought in three examples of her work. One used old scarves, another pieces of clothing and the third (centre) is made from plastic shopping bags. Spot M &S, Tesco, Sainsbury, et al....
