Regular visitors may have heard me mention the annual sports dinner that we hold in memory of my dad. Today I was down at Dunfermline Athletic's training ground to do the cheque presentations from this years dinner to the two causes we had been raising money for. The Dinner sponsors two Pars players, Chris Smith and Jordan McMillan and the club agreed to host the big cheque presentation.

We had six players taking part in the presentation plus manager Jim Jefferies came over and got a few photos taken too which was really nice of him.

Litte Millie is a lovely wee girl and her bravery and spirit is both humbling and an inspiration. The other beneficiary from this year is a charity set up in memory of my friends little boy who had a rare form of kidney disease (My friend is on the left). The money for Millie will go towards a programme of treatment for brain injured children that specialists think may help her development.
