A visit to the dump-it site to take the vast quantities of cardboard that had come with the new radiators and my mount-board. Ordering stuff online does seem to generate a great deal of extra packaging.

Most of the radiators are now fixed and the kitchen wall has now been rebuild in stone.

We are going to Northumberland tomorrow with my mum & dad and brother (who now lives and works in the US). So something of a clear-up and sort out day today. We wishing for better weather than we've had over the last month - my birthday on Tuesday.

We're looking forward to letting them get on with adding the finishing touches to the house and are expecting a big transformation by the time we return. We're so lucky to have such a trustworthy team working on our project.
