'Portrait of a Young Man Standing, 1963-83'
20 years standing! No wonder he looks pretty vacant.
I took a short walk to the Tate Britain at lunchtime today. Here's another example of having something interesting on your doorstep that you never visit. Anyhoo, I braved the warm weather and lack of rain to see what they had in the gallery. Surprisingly it was mainly tourists.
I did notice a few paintings, which was nice.
For pedants: this is a Bronze by Leonard McComb
For prudes: he had forgotten to put his shorts on! To save embarrassment I cropped his nether regions (!).
For anoraks: the full story (and nether regions) are here.
