Piece de resistance

It's funny what you do some lunch breaks. Today, for example, I took a longish exposure of the toilet in the new bathroom. My theory, seat-wise, was that it was worth an extra £30 to get a soft close seat because the men of the house might find it easier (or more fun) to put the seat down again after using it. Mind you, it IS just a theory at this stage.

Incidentally, to the left of the toilet is an example of the bathroom problem I mentioned earlier in the week. I'm not sure it shows up all that well but in real life the ten insert tiles in the room are a completely different shade of white to the plain tiles and are having to be removed and replaced next week. Grrrrrrrrrr. The marks you can see are on my camera lens rather than the tiles...
