Birthday Blessings

Today is Lucie's birthday! I love this photograph taken of her in my sister Sheenagh's heavenly garden on the outskirts of Rome, where she lived with her Italian husband Armando. My oldest three children (Hamish came much later) treasure their childhood memories of summer months spent there. It seems a lifetime ago...I was a child bride!
