Red Flowers

An early blip today taken while the sun was out and before it had time to disappear. I do not know what this shrub is, but it has been grown from a cutting we took when we had to move the original plant. The people who lived here before us often planted things in odd places which had to be removed. They planted a Horse Chestnut tree within ten metres of the house. No doubt it was lovely when it was a sapling, but it was much too close to the house when it became a fully grown tree; then it became dangerous in the October 1987 gales and had to be removed.

Some work this morning and then the weekend is almost here. I think we are going to buy a new tumble dryer tomorrow; I wonder what else I might buy?
