Bay of Islands

I caught the kiwi bus early and luckily for my sanity Amie is on the same bus! We left Auckland and were on route for the Bay of Islands in the north of the north island.

We arrived into some sort of country and western festival (lots of yoddeling). Made us smile.

So with an afternoon to our selves myself, Amie, Dan, Sam and Claire went on a coastal walk.....literally climbing over various rocks along the beach. Beautiful surroundings though. Even better was that we finished the walk off ruth a couple of glasses of wine as it just happened to be happy hour.....would be rude if we didn't.
