Another 2 loops logged over Mennock Pass. On my second loop I "joined" a sportive cycle where hundreds of cyclists were climbing up along with me. I had a wee chat with one guy about the event which sounded very civilised, as they go out in the morning cycle around 60miles. They stop for lunch at Drumlanrig castle after which they go out and do a shorted loop of 40 miles. 100 miles of cycling in beautiful countryside with other cyclists with lunch thrown in and all for charity. Perhaps an event for next year.
