Finchairn Cottage

It rained all day (and it's still raining!), and so this is another indoor blip. This was painted by my father in the 1970s when we enjoyed many family holidays in Argyll.

It rained a lot there, too, but the holidays were great. One cold water tap (from the burn), a gas cooker and that was it. No electricity or hot water, but there was a marvellous black stove in the living room. Just looked it up on the Internet and it's been completely modernised. Must try to persuade hubby to book us a holiday there ;o)

My friend, Manuela arrived from Berlin today. We have entered the Glasgow Women's 10k for this Sunday. Hope the weather is better!
