Thursday: The Things That Don't Occur To You

When we brought our car over to Croatia, it never occurred to us what a pain it would be trying to park in car parks.  Right-hand drive car - ticket machines designed for left-hand drives.  It's OK when there are two of you in the car, but you don't half wind people up behind you when you have to climb out the car, walk round, get a ticket, walk back and pull away......

K.s mother has one of those grabby claw on a stick things - we are thinking of purloining it so we can use it for exactly such situations!  That will raise some eyebrows - just seeing a little claw-like pincer emerge from the window of the car.......
