A tale of 3 trousers
Thought I'd been very organised this morning and had 2 children ready for nursery by 8.15am. Just as I was grabbing the car keys, D walked over to me with a rather uncomfortable look on his face, pulling at his trousers. He was very wet. My first reaction was that I'd forgotten to put a nappy on him (which I once did with Miss A) but on undressing him I realised I'd left his nether extremity dangling outside the nappy so he pee'd right down his leg. A complete change required. Oops!
Despite it raining non-stop today, the nursery like to let the kids experience different weather conditions and they had D out playing in the rain, which he absolutely loved. More wet trousers. By the time I picked him up he was running around in a red vest and a pair of lilac velour jogging pants (the nursery's, not his). I laughed and laughed when I saw him. I must also confess I thought he looked rather fetching, the lilac really brought out his eyes!
I stayed firmly indoors today and blew pretty bubbles. It was my first attempt and a nice way to while away part of the day. The bubbles that were sharp didn't have very interesting formations so I plumped for this as liked the colours and arrangement.
