Accidental Impressionism?

and so, just like this, i had switched the lens to soft focus and forgot about it...this time the lomo-ish function of picassa was added and this is how it turned out.
it has been an immensely grim day here, few photo's (this is one of three - which means that it may well be temporary...) but two were in colour....i will admit that i am unsure, there is a black and white...but it has been such a crap day that.....
