Mirror lake

Wet and rainy today, so I'm back-blipping from yesterday's hike round the Mosedale Horseshoe. This is a fantastic morning shot over Wastwater with Illgill Head & Whin Rigg in view; the screes are beautifully reflected in to water, which was just like a mirror when I arrived. You're often told that the first sight of Wastwater (when you approach from Nether Wasdale) takes your breath away, that's so true, especially when it's such a clear, calm day. Even though it's a bit of a trek to get there, you'll never regret making the journey.
