Hermanus Whale Festival

Vincent, Patrick, and I jumped into Vincent's old beetle and drove down the coastline to Hermanus - a small village that hosts over 200 Southern Right Whales in its harbor every South African spring. Crowds of people gathered for carnival rides and pizza-in-a-cones, while fat, happy whales flapped their fins just off the rocky shore.
