Prickly Thistle

I love thistles and it is not because I am patriotic because if I truly was I would not live in England be married to an English Man and even dare I say it like the Sassenachs I meant those lovely English people .
I just find thistles so multi dimensional ( hey no I am feeling like a true blipper , talking intelligently about stuff ) and rustic and the colour is amazing. This one is not obviously like the wild thistles that you get in the woods and hills and fields of Scotland but it is still beautiful.
I love the way that it looks against my shiny stainless steel fridge i think that makes a perfect back shot !!!
Now I think that could be enough of my dribble as the cat Freckle is sitting on my lap and wanting attention
