One adventure after another . . .

We got back to my mother-in-law's about 9pm on May 9th and were planning to go straight to bed, but my mother-in-law thought she smelled gas so called the gas company. We were kicked out of the house for several hours while they were diagnosing what turned out to be two problems -- one inside and one outside. The outside problem means they have to dig up the gas line from the street to the house. This is the scene at 1 am, just as they are starting to dig.
