A Elephant story:
Jake is five years old and learning to read.

He points at a picture in a zoo book and says,
"Look, Mama! It's a frickin' elephant!"

Deep breath from Mama... "What did you call it?"

"It's a frickin' elephant, Mama! It says so on the picture!"

And so it does ...

"A f r i c a n Elephant."

We had breakfast at the Addo Elephant National Park with my brother and his wife before hitting the road back home.

We saw elephants so close up, we could almost touch them. It was an experience I won't forget for a long time :)

We slept over at Colesberg again, this time in a tenthouse overlooking a revine.
