missing you

My girlfriend lives & works in Amsterdam. That is 250 miles away from me in England (in a straight line), with the cold North Sea between us. The wonders of modern technology enable us to keep in contact. Telephone calls, postcards, text messages, Facebook & Skype video calls all help, but I still miss her so much. I took this picture during a Skype video call, but she doesn't sit still for a photo!

I will be on the ferry to see her soon, but it seems like forever until then.
