Cherry Tree Tunnel
A fine old day weather wise. So I took the hound out for a wander this evening. Might as well enjoy it while we can -tomorrow is set to be vile.
A nice wander through the woods pondering on the meaning of life. Spent a bit of time looking back (not literally!) and wondering how I have ended up living in various parts of this village for 18 years now. It all started with a short term rental while our property down south was being sold.
This then led me to pondering on the differences in life living on the south side of the village as to the more hilly north side. So many thoughts so little time ;-) One thing for sure, down here in rural suburbia it is easier to escape in winter and you are a wee bit more sheltered from the full force of the easterly wind. Which was much in evidence on the way home.....brrr
This is the tree lined avenue as I call it - cherry trees on both sides. A fine place to visit later on in the year...if you are very smart you would combine it with a trip further up the hill to pick the blueberries which grow wild at the top of lucklawhill - lush
I am off to Perth tomorrow for a change - work though and it will be persisting down :(
Ach well, nearly time for The Apprentice..
