Grey
It has been a grey day today - both the weather and me. No toddlers this morning so Red and I did an Asda shop.
Then I set about the mountain of paperwork - mostly business or mortgage related. So relatively important. The upshot was that I had to drop some stuff off at the accountant. Who is located in the office opposite where Ben used to work.
I only had Lily and Red so we popped over to the Maritime Museum for half an hour. As we walked in we were handed badges and stickers to support Ben Ainslie. We were even invited to send him a message. I politely declined and we headed to the helicopter...
Now Red loves helicopters, they are second only to buses. And perhaps dustbin lorries. Only he is STILL terrified of the one in the museum. He reluctantly followed Lily and I into, while crying "No mummy, no, no helicopter..."
We quickly left that bit and went up the tower to eavesdrop on the guide blokey telling some Americans off the big cruise ship about the Fin Sailing (?) competition that is/has been (?) going on here - the GB Olympic squad will be chosen based upon their performances here. Apparently. That'll be why there are all the flags and banners then. Oh and lots of little sailing boats.
I really should pay more attention sometimes...
