New Socks

I have a bit of a thing about shoes and socks.... you simply can't have enough!!!
These are my latest purchase which arrived today - thank you Amazon for being so prompt!
For many many years now I have tried and failed to share my enthusiasm for socks with the three men in my life, but despite buying them funny ones, sensible ones, colourful ones, sophisticated ones, woolly ones, cartoon ones, school ones, tennis ones, foootball ones they just don't get it!! Socks are just socks to them.... something to keep your feet warm, your shoes from rubbing, something that needs changing every day! But socks are so much more......!!!

Where shoes are concerned I was a bit more successful!! All three are happy to trawl from one shoe shop to another and spend hours online to find the right pair! At least that is something!!

Would be cheaper if it was the other way round though!

Work was good.... it's Wednesday and I don't have any non contact time which makes me happy - I enjoy the teaching bit the most and whilst focused on teaching I can (if only for a very short while) forget about the emails that need answering, spreadsheets that need to be completed, meeting that need attending, parents that need phoning, colleagues that need chasing, policies that need reviewing, data that needs checking, timetable that needs putting together, summative reports for trainee teacher that need writing, assemblies that need planning etc etc Shame teaching can't just be teaching..... I reckon they have got it right in France and Germany!!!
