Chopper!

After a blustery night we had a successful chopper ride across to Hirta, St Kilda, clad in yellow suits that wouldn't look out of place on the moon! Approaching the island was amazing as you have a fab birds-eye view of the hills and the rugged cliff edges of Dun, and the iconic street of ruined cottages in Village Bay, it's stunning! First day spent unpacking and meeting various people and generally settling in, and went for an extremely windy first walk up one of the hills!
