Coot

Another dull damp day, so a trip to our local reserve at Tewinbury. There were Moorhen chicks about and this Coot was working on keeping its future family warm and dry. A good day list today for this reserve where six is normally a good number:

Canada Goose, Gadwall, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Little Grebe, Moorhen, Coot, Woodpigeon, Robin, Blackbird, Magpie, Carrion Crow.
