My heart, how it bleeds.
Bleeding Hearts.
A flower.
Who knew?
As a teenager, I've learned things that I hope will correctly guide me through my lifetime, and maybe one day, make me wise.
As a teenager, I find myself continually interlocking my being, and emotions into something that won't bring me knowledge or make me wise.
In my opinion, the worst part of learning, is the pain that accompanies knowledge. There are just some things that must be learned through one's own, "trial and error". In many cases, those are the ones that bring the most hurt and pain, for they are the ones that you must look back on, remember, and use to make your future.
Those "lessons" that bring pain, are the ones that won't be forgotten, simply because of the emotion that is associated with them.
Those "lessons" that you won't forget are the ones you hope you won't have to go through again because hey, you learned what you needed the first time. No need to do a retake, right?
Those "lessons" that bring knowledge, are the ones that will mold you into the sculpture you're meant to be.
You can either be the person who goes back to the things that you've already learned from that causes you pain, or you can be the person who moves on to what YOU WANT to become.
It's never too late to move forward, and mend your bleeding heart.
1 Timothy 4:12
"Let no one despise your youth but be an example to the belivers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity."
