Tardis?
After doing a bit of overtime round Peterlee today i stopped off at the site of Easington colliery where this monument has been errected . It's actually the twin level cage that used to send all the miners down the shaft to start work digging coal miles out underneath the north sea.
My mam's family were all from this area and her brother used to work in this pit. Don't think i could have worked all that way under ground too claustrophobic.
Congrats to my mate Turk on his 100th blip today.
