Italian Chapel

It was my girlfriend's birthday today and so it was over to the east of the mainland for a visit to the Churchill Barriers and the exquisite and poignant Italian Chapel. I blipped the font which is made of a vehicle spring. The 3-dimensional painting to give the brick effect on the ceiling of the Nissan Hut was remarkable.

Later on, we travelled down South Ronaldsay to the Tomb of the Eagles and then returned to Kirkwall for another great meal before returning to Stromness and an overnight stay on the ferry for an early departure tomorrow.
