Ruby Rose

I know this rose is ready for the bin - I just thought I would snap it before it went, and anyway there's a story behind it.

These roses were given to me by the man who we are buying the house from. He was so apologetic for the stress his ex wife put us (and him) through when she almost pulled out of the sale the day we were supposed to exchange contracts, that he came round to our house one day with a bunch of red roses! I was pretty surprised to see him and I must admit we were so near to telling him to forget the whole thing that day, that it took me about 3 hours before I could bring myself to even put them in water! Anyway this last one is on it's way out - and we complete on Friday! :-)
