Yipee! I've made it!

Only a day older than yesterday really but now officially middle-aged. Does it make any difference? No, it doesn't. What was I worried about. Nice to get a chance to celebrate with friends and colleagues. A relatively "normal" day today apart from the occasional glass of bubbly. More people to come and join an 'open house' party at the weekend and then a proper party at the end of the summer.

It's nice to draw the celebrations out and get more than one day of happenings.
