Birthday Party!

Back Blip: this is the beginnings of the food table from my 27th flat birthday party. I had so much fun making and decorating the cakes and experimenting with different icing and designs.

I was given this lovely rose printed cake stand from my friend N, and promptly put it to good use! I love my cupcake teapot that my friend R. gave me a few years ago as a christmas pressie and worked in well with my cupcake theme.

My friends A. and E, also gave me cupcake themed presents - think my family and friends are afraid I'm going to turn into a cupcake one of these days!!

The party was a good night of laughs, chat, booziness and dancing. A. brought her kinect and we had fun trying to use it around the numerous bodies packed into our small-ish living room. I'm hoping the downstairs neighbour was still away (had been trying to catch her on several occassions to pre-warn of upcoming party...) or else they would have been thinking a herd of elephants was going to come crashing through their celling at some point (we have exposed floorboard flooring in our flat).

The best part is that since are our friends couldn't come on Sat night (which was also slightly lucky as not sure where we would've put them...), we get to do it all again this weekend. YAY! xx
