Fun in the sun.....

We've had a lovely family day today.

It started with us visiting the family of one of Daisy-May's school friends - we were made some beautiful bacon and mushroom cobs and the children played together really well.

We then took a nice stroll home which should take 20 minutes at the most; however we stopped to chat to friends on a couple of occasions on the way home and the journey took us over an hour!! I love the unexpected chats and meetings.

The weather today has been glorious, so we inflated the kiddies bouncy castle. Daisy-May had her friend from next door round and together they bounced with their "Build-a-bear's".

It is wonderful to have days with no plans, no appointments and good ol' family fun!!
