Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back

Getting a bit concerned about my Lens/Camera, Images are not quite as sharp as I feel they used to be.
OK, using the 55 - 300 lens at its higher end in Low light, hand held and with a high ISO onboard a ship in the North Atlantic that is contantly pitching and heaving is not going to be condusive to pin sharp imagery but I feel it could be better.
