Day 3

While having breakfast at the campsite we saw an excellent example of non-eco behaviour in an eco campsite! A car drew up at the toilet block 2 females got out in their jammies and went into the toilet block, they then drove round the campsite and back into a wooded area of the campsite 120 meters from the toilet block!

Set off again very cold and cloudy. We headed back to Kinlochrannoch and along to Tummel Bridge and round the south side of Loch Tummell. Very steep hills on way to Floss and constant up and downs, some very steep. Stopped short of Pitlochry at a cafe by the side of the river. Carried through Pitlochry to turn off for the theatre, turned onto cycle route before the theatre and again up hills on the west side of the A9 back to car at Balinluig. 48 km. I found my legs very tired today with all the hills over the weekend and was glad to get back. Our load was pretty heavy because of the unexpectedly cold weekend but needed the heavier sleeping bag and extra clothes.

Took photos of the old bridge ,Scheihallion but liked this one best of the greylag with her brood.
