Waterford, NY Railroad Station

This building is the Delaware & Hudson freight and Passenger station in Waterford, NY

It has been restored and is used as the public library for Waterford.

A unique factor is that this station is on the original right of way of the Rensselaer & Saratoga Railroad. The R&S is one of the first railroad in New York State.

Just beyond the back of the station the R&S intersected with the Hudson Valley Railroad. But that's a story for the future.
