Mexican Monday

They have cumin (cominho) here! So Mexican time it was. And it was delicious. But the cheese was rather disappointing. It was cheddar "flavored" and was a bit too plastic-y. It might make a good Velveeta substitute... if I liked Velveeta... maybe next time I crave mac and cheese I can use it.

Good day- I did a little work, got registered for a conference (it was ironic that the "smart and sustainable built environment" conference requires registration through money order or fax....) and was able to (I hope) mentor a friend in need. I'm liking the long lunch though- lots of chatting and French-learning. It's a nice break in the middle of the day, and I find I have more energy than usual for the afternoons. Tomorrow I will discover what I'm teaching (and when)!
