Super Trooper

We took a stroll in the rain along the Duke of Northumberland's River (not as picturesque as it sounds!) to the Sussex Arms for a pub lunch.

Northumberland to Sussex? We get around don't we?

It was my first visit to that particular pub & I'd recommend it heartly.
18 real ales & ciders, & a roaring fire, which sadly on a May Bank Holiday was very welcome.

On our way home we spotted this lot. I wish I'd passed by on May the 4th...
