As sure as eggs is eggs, for every one of us there are many - often animals, as well as humans - who pass through our lives. Some of those who stay briefly are pretty much forgotten over the years. Others we still remember once in a while a long time later. But there are inevitably a special few - parents (possibly other family members), husbands/wives/partners/lovers, especially close friends, particular animals we've known, who have such an impact on us that they regularly come to mind, no matter whether they were part of our life for many, many years or for just a short period. We could never forget them. Whenever I see the beautiful Forget-Me-Not (of which I have masses in my garden) and think of its name, those people and animals come to mind. Forget them? As if ......
