Choo choo!

Today we went on the steam train for Eden's birthday treat. Tobes loved it and Mr EG was even more excited than all the little ones put together!! Once the train had pulled up at the next station (we just did one stop) Mr EG legged it down to the engine with Tobes and the driver invited him onto the footplate (not sure how safe that was for a toddler - big fire, very steep steps, lots of oil and grease!) but anyway it was very exciting for Mr EG!

We all had a cuppa and Tobes stood transfixed by the fence watching the model railway at Rothley station. Then it was back to Eden's for yummy party food and the most amazing cakes.
