Slam Dunk

I met up with my friends Julie and Edward and their lovely 8 year old daughter Genevieve at Tate Liverpool this afternoon to see a new exhibition, 'Innocence and Experience', which has been curated by Marianne Faithfull.

An interesting show featuring works by Peter Blake, Yoko Ono, Man Ray, Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin and William Blake amongst many others.

This work by Jeff Koons ('Three Ball Total Equilibrium Tank - 1985') wasn't part of the show but it was a particular hit with Genevieve - who can be seen examining it here with Julie just behind her.

After an afternoon of art we were all in need of sustenance so headed to The Egg for something to eat - vegan Shepherd's Pie in my case!

A thoroughly enjoyable day.
