Dandelion Clock
When I was little, we used to call these dandelion clocks.
We would pluck them unceremoniously from the ground, blow the seeds off (usually in someone's face) and then moan about the sap being sticky.
The amount of seeds left on the stalk after you had blown was supposed to tell you what time it was.
I remember there being a poem about them in a book I had when I was young.
That is all.
